What is the big picture?

MessageDance is a platform for sharing digital content from virtually any social media site to another social media site. A single post from you goes to multiple social destinations like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, blogs, and more. You can create a blog entry to WordPress and Blogger from your favorite email client, YouTube, Facebook, iPhone, and more! Your friends can also send public messages to your MessageDance widgets – wherever you have them placed – with Just One Email.

What are some examples of how to use MessageDance?

Write a Blog Entry from Anywhere

For your WordPress or Blogger blog, you can write a blog entry from your email client, YouTube, Digg, Googler Reader, iPhone, and more! You can place images in-line, apply formatting, tags, labels, categories, and attach photos and files to appear with your blog post. With our ability to understand your various email addresses, you can post from multiple email clients and mobile devices.

Enhance Your Twitter-Ability

Send your tweets from where you are on the web or from the road. You can tweet using your mobile phone (including sharing photos and videos), email client, YouTube, Digg, Google Reader, Amazon, and from MessageDance.com. Send as much text and content you want and if you go over 140 characters, we provide a link to show the full message. We have an enhanced view of your tweets and those you follow in our MyTweets section. Also, we provide Twitter insurance in the case when Twitter is down and push your tweets once Twitter is back up

Be Social with Your Mobile Device

We work really great with the iPhone, but any mobile device will work just fine too! Take a photo with your phone’s camera and email it to Twitter, your blog, and Facebook – all from a single email. We have widgets you can place on your social network profiles so all of your friends can see what you are sharing right away. Using your iPhone, you can share a YouTube video and we’ll expand the video’s URL and render the video for your friends to see without them having to click through another URL. Want to share a webpage you like? Just email it as a link and we’ll expand the URL with an image and summary for your friends to see without them having to click on it.

Share Content to All Your Social Sites

From a single message, you can share your content to all of the places you want it to go. We are an application on Facebook and have widgets for all of the popular social networks and blog platforms. We transform your message to meet the format of its final destination. This means we can push your stuff to Twitter with links back to your original content to show videos, music, photos, files – pretty much anything you want to share. Even if you put in a simple URL, we will expand it to render it as a video, a music file, or a snapshot of a webpage. You can send photos directly into your Facebook Photos section by simply emailing them.

Videos, Photos, Music, File Sharing Never Easier

Share a photo you took on your phone to Twitter and Facebook. Send a video to your blog directly from YouTube.com and we’ll show the embedded video as a blog post or a link within your widget. Put an MP3 file or URL in your email, share it, and we’ll render a music player within your message. Attach any type of file to an email message you want to share and we’ll host and display it for all of your friends to access.

Widgets on Your Sites

MessageDance widgets can be placed on your social networking profiles such as Facebook, MySpace, Xanga, and LiVEJOURNAL. They can also go on blogging platforms such as Blogger and WordPress. Basically, any site that you can add widgets or code, you can put MessageDance.

MessageDance also let's you send your messages to Twitter to update your status on Facebook and through your widgets.
