Should I use Yahoo Classic or the
new Yahoo Mail?
All of the MessageDance features work with either version but the new
Yahoo Mail makes it easier to switch back and forth from "Rich Text"
to "Plain Text" which is useful for sending
embedded videos.

How do I
send photos and images?
It is as easy as attaching photos as
files in
your email. When you send attachments, these files are then hosted on
MessageDance servers.
With Yahoo Mail, you can also simply copy and paste in rich content
including
photos and images from webpages. These remain links to the website you
copied them from.
You need to be in the rich text mode of Gmail to copy in rich content.
It is very easy to switch back and forth from rich to text -- see the
links "Plain Text" and "Rich Text" to toggle back and forth.

How
do I send videos?
To embed videos into your email
message, copy
and paste the "embed" code from YouTube (or other service that
has embed code available). If you have a video as a file, you
can just attach it to your email and share it that way.
Embedding from YouTube:
This should be done in "Plain Text" email format mode.
Remember, you can also send videos directly
from YouTube.com.

Can I send
rich text formatting?
Yes. You can copy and paste in rich text and images from webpages. You
can also just type in text and format it with Yahoo Mail formatting. It
will
be rendered in MessageDance with the formatting intact.

Can I send
attached files?
Yes. You can send any type of file you want to share. If Yahoo Mail can
attach it, we can share it for you.

How do I make a
blog post?
Yahoo Mail is a great email client for making rich content blog posts.
You
can send photos, images, files, and text with formatting and we will
pass this through to your blog platform for rendering within your blog
template. Your posts can be drafts that you publish later from your
blog platform or they can be published immediately when you send the
email.
In the simplest terms, you can
create a new blog entry by emailing your
post to "blog @ messagedance.com" (or blogs@). You can create a blog
entry by any means you can send a
message in
MessageDance which
includes from your email client, iPhone, Facebook message center,
YouTube
Share, and the MessageDance DanceFloor. You can attach photos (any file
type) and place photos/images/videos in-line. We provide you a tag
("danceimage") for you to indicate where in your blog post you want the
images to be placed as well as tags ("dancetags") for WordPress tagging
/ Blogger labeling. WordPress categories can be automatically applied
from your Social
Profile setup.
