The Singer/Songwriter Showcase is proving to be a positive event!  The first two weeks, it rained but people still came out and participated.  Last week, the singers, songwriters and musicians were able to perform for a captive audience.  It's tough to play when no one is paying attention - makes you feel like they might as well turn on the radio.  So when you have people having a good time AND listening, it's very rewarding.  The feedback is great and we do listen to your ideas and thoughts.  Until further notice, we are hosting the weekly Wednesday Showcase from 7:00 - 10:00 PM each and every week.  This should give time to get home and re-group before heading to Coyote's.  Get there early, sign up and grab a bite to eat from a generous portioned menu.  Fish and chips were great last week! On Thursday, come to Beef O'Brady's on South Patrick Drive in Satellite Beach, just south of Tortoise Island from 6-9 and have a drink and a bite to eat on the patio.  The kids can play the games in the cool game room while you socialize with other fun folks.

It's the Downtown Melbourne Friday Fest again!  So this Friday, from 6-10 PM, I'll be doing the breaks for Blox Electric.  Bring the kids and we'll all be dancing in the streets!

More people signed up for a table at the Musicians Swap Meet on Saturday, September 27^th, at the Cocoa Beach Country Club Pavilion. Tables are $25 and we have less than 30 now, so don't delay. Start pulling out all that unused equipment and music related items. We have spoken to several music teachers who are going to pass the word to their students and we're posting it on the Brevard County Schools website.  Several artists will have their artwork for sale.  Some people are bringing music memorabilia to sell, barter or trade.
