This Memorial Day weekend, RADIO SHOCK will be traveling and playing with POINGLY (http://www.myspace.com/poingly), a friend who plays some kind of laptop/electroclash/plunderphonics music.
FRI. MAY 23rd 8:00PM Riverview High School 100 Hulton Road Oakmont, Pennsylvania 15139 (This is just outside Pittsburgh, and YES, it is at a HIGH SCHOOL. I have no idea what to expect, except that it should be totally inappropriate. Don't miss it if you are in the area.) and SAT. MAY 24th 8:00PM WE FEST at the Soapbox 255 N. Front St Wilmington, North Carolina 28401 (This is part of a huge annual indie rock fest. It should be moderately inappropriate. Also playing is the awesome dance-party band EAR PWR) and SUN. MAY 25th Your House! That's right, we will be traveling from Wilmington, NC back to New York City, and we would like to play anywhere in-between. 10 minute sets opening for an already packed show would be fine. House shows, afternoon BBQs, birthday parties or guerilla actions would be fine. Get in touch with offers or ideas please.
