As In Touch revealed exclusively, Angelina Jolie gave birth to her twins on Saturday night at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France. "Mother, father and babies are doing terrific," " Dr. Michael Sussmann tellsIn Touch. "And they are very, very happy." The 33-year-old star gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs. Angelina checked into the seafront hospital earlier this month in anticipation of the birth. The doctor told the Associated Press that the Cesarean was moved forward "for medical reasons" so that the babies could be born "in the best conditions." Sources say Angelina will leave the hospital with the next 48 hours.

PARIS, France (AP) -- The Brangelina twins are here: Angelina Jolie has given birth to a girl and a boy.

Angelina Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt, are welcoming the arrival of twins.

The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told The Associated Press that the actress, the babies and Jolie's partner, actor Brad Pitt, "are doing marvelously well."

Sussmann said Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarian section Saturday night.

There has been speculation in the world media that Angelina Jolie already had her babies, but just four days ago on June 22, an In Touch Weeklyphotographer got a rare shot of Angelina still heavily pregnant, taking a break from bed rest. These photos capture the actress hanging out with children Shiloh and Zahara outside Chateau Miraval — the home she, Brad Pitt and the kids are staying at in the south of France. While her official due date is in August, insiders tell In Touch that she will deliver around July 15.

It seems someone has been impersonating Angelina Jolie's assistant and passing on "rumors" to the media for over a year! Surely, there will be a scramble to go back and look at the junk she has been sending and everyone has been reporting. From Jossip.

How to explain how Entertainment Tonight so very badly bungled the EXCLUSIVE!!! story about Angelina Jolie giving birth last week? (And then their website "crashed"; maybe they were hiding from their screw up?)

Well, it wasn't entirely their fault.

Jossip hears that somebody has been impersonating Angelina's assistant Holly Goline, using a fake BlackBerry email address and sending erroneous reports to the press. Jolie's attorneys at cease-and-desist happy firm Lavely & Singer are said to be circulating a letter among entertainment outlets explaining the situation.

And the worst part? This impostor has been sending fake information to the media for the past year. Time to start counting up all those outrageously untrue items!

Says the letter:

"A random individual has engaged in a scheme to intentionally harm my client and deceive her fans, the public and the media through illegal and tortuous impersonation of Ms Jolie's long-time assistant, Holly.

"The individual who claims to be, and to whom the media has relied upon as, a 'reliable source' is not my client's assistant, nor does the email address belong to my client's assistant."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are about to release their latest production, their twins, into the world. Like every expectant mother they have things to plan – what hospital will my baby be born at? Breastfeed or bottle feed? Which magazine will buy the pictures for the most cash?

The bidding for the Brangelina twins pics has reached a whopping $15 million — and will probably go a lot higher.
Our magazine spies tell us only PEOPLE and OK! are left standing in the bidding war. One spy says the pics are so valuable they would "print blank pages" the rest of year to get them.

Can a weekly mag actually recoup all that cash? Probably not, but it doesn't matter. The prestige is what counts.
No deal has been inked yet. Brad's peeps didn't return our calls. A PEOPLE rep says, "We'd love to see the photos in PEOPLE. We wish the family well" OK!'s rep refused to address a dollar figure, but admits they'd be "foolish" not to make a play for the photos.

We're told the $$$$ Brad and Angie get will go to charity.

$15 million dollars is going to be wonderful for the charity it will go to, but that is a lot of money for pictures of two little babies. Particularly when babies just look like babies, they aren't really very interesting. Jennifer Lopez was paid $4-6 million for her twins by People, the same magazine that bought Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's picture for $4.1 million, which is the most expensive picture of a single child to date.

The bidding for the pictures got very heated following the innacurate reports that Angelina had given birth at the weekend. If the price is already around $15 million, by August these pictures could give several charities a financial boost.

I don't believe those babies are due as late as August, but if they are, I'm feeling really sorry for Angelina Jolie. Sure, pregnancy might make you feel sexy, but she is just enormous for someone around the seven month mark, even taking into account that those are twins.

At the end of March the price of the pictures was put around $10 million, so maybe the price really has reached $15 million.

OK! Magazine is reporting a rumor that Angelina Jolie had her twins over the weekend in the Aix-en-Provence region of France, which would be near Brad and Angelina's newly leased $60 or $70 million estate. (Depending on which reports you believe.)

OK! says we should take this with a grain of salt, and that it's just an unsubstantiated rumor for now. The details are pretty sketchy:

There may be nothing more than wishful thinking to reports coming out of France this morning that Angelina Jolie, who was due to give birth to twins some time in the next three to four weeks, has indeed already delivered her fifth and sixth children.

According to rumors, the Oscar-winner gave birth on Sunday in a Catholic clinic in the Aix-En-Provence region of France. No further details are forthcoming at this moment.

OK! reminds us of the rumor that Brad and Angelina were married in the French Quarter of New Orleans in March. It turned out that the wedding was for a couple from New Orleans' elite and that all it took was a few blocked roads and an expensive wedding for the story to get started. Maybe there's a wealthy French woman or even another celebrity who arranged to have secrecy surrounding her birth and it's not Angelina at all.

Angelina has said that she will disappear for a couple months after her twins are born. Dustin Hoffman leaked the news that she was due August 19, but that could have been a cleverly arranged setup by Brad and Angelina to ensure that they have time alone after the birth. It's hard to tell how far along she is, especially if she's having twins.

Update: D-Listed is reporting that Angelina named the twins Isla Marcheline Jolie-Pitt and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought a £35 million chateau in the French Riviera to base their growing family.

The couple are said to have looked at around 100 properties before settling on the 35-bedroom estate.

The sprawling residence comes complete with it's own vineyard, moat, lake and forest which they bought direct from the owner after spotting the property from the air by helicopter.

The pair hope to move in by the beginning of August as they are expecting twins on the 19th.

A source close to the deal said: 'It's a place called Chateau Miraval which is in a tiny village called Brignol in the Var, not far from Aix en Provence.

'Just the driveway up to the Chateau is three miles long.

'There's a lake and a swimming pool and fountains and fields with ponies in and it's surrounded by a huge forest so no-one will be able to take pictures of them or the kids.

'They're both thrilled as they've been hunting for a place on the Riviera for over a year and it's exactly what they want.

'Last year Brad and Angelina took a helicopter along the Riviera and they were literally landing in people's gardens of houses that they liked and were running in to ask if their properties were for sale.

The magnificent cascading stone-walled terraces have been replanted with 13 different varieties of olives.

The estate is surrounded by water with twenty fountains, aquaducts, and a stream runs through hidden tunnels and into the moat and fills the lake.

'It's absolutely stunning,' said the source.

'They're going to enrol the kids in a local French school and they already have friends there like Bono and The Edge from U2 and Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.'

The estate is situated at an altitude of 350 meters (1150 ft.), and spans 1000 acres.

The estate comes complete with ponies, making playtime extra fun for the children

Of that 75 acres are devoted to vines which provide wine for a successful vineyard.

The vineyards are protected by the surrounding forest of evergreen and white oak, and parasol, aleppo and maritime pine.

'They've already bought a couple of million pounds worth of antiques to fill the place and are planning renovations with their Berlin based architects,' said a source.

It is thought that the Pitt-Jolie family are attracted to France due to the strict privacy laws.

In addition it has been reported that the two boys are showing signs of behavioural problems after being persistently uprooted from schools around the world.
