LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Hugh Hefner is down a girlfriend.

The 28-year-old model-actress stars in the reality series with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt as one of the 82-year-old publisher's girlfriends who live with Hefner in the Playboy Mansion.

"If Holly says it's over, I guess it's over," Hefner said in a telephone interview Wednesday. "She's still here in the house. Until a few days ago, we were still sharing the same bed."

Hefner was surprised to hear Madison discussing their breakup, but acknowledged he knew a split was imminent after he told Madison that they would never wed or have children.

In a video posted on TMZ.com Tuesday, Madison said she's no longer with Hefner. She also said she is "still filming stuff together" with Wilkinson and Marquardt.

Hefner said Madison learned the pair would never have children or get married six months ago, adding: "The fact that she was depressed after that, I didn't know at all. That was a revelation in the last days and weeks. Quite frankly, we thought when the time came, we would make a combined statement and we expected that combined statement would be somewhere in the weeks and months ahead."

"The Girls Next Door" premiered on E! in 2001 and is in its fifth season. Hefner said he and the three women are committed to a sixth season, but he plans to seek out new live-in lovers. Hefner said 19-year-old Playmate twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon are living in the mansion, but they aren't his girlfriends -- yet.

"It's now apparent there will be some new faces in my personal life and on the show," he said. "There's been moments that I've been down in the dumps about all this, and (personal assistant) Mary (O'Connor) told me to cheer up and pointed out that there are girls lined up outside the front gate. At my age, that's hard to believe, but it seems to be true."

Hefner's relationship with his remaining two girlfriends -- Marquardt, 35, and Wilkinson, 23 -- may also be in flux. Hefner said Marquardt is in Europe filming the new Travel Channel series "Bridget's Beaches," and Wilkinson may soon move out of the mansion and get her own apartment. Hefner said E! is interested in spin-offs with all three women.

The Playboy mogul expects to maintain a business relationship and friendship with Madison, who -- along with Marquardt -- originally was one of seven girlfriends living with Hefner in 2001 after his separation from Kimberley Conrad. Wilkinson was later asked to move into the Playboy Mansion in 2004. Hefner said he may again seek out seven -- or more -- girlfriends.

"It's a big house," he said. "And I'm not going to live alone. I'm definitely not going to live alone."

Salma laughed it off and slowly said she was LEBANESE. Eamonn ended things by saying, "Oh sorry, I thought you were half lesbian. Forgive me."

Saturday Night Live has royal plans for a possible vice presidential debate sketch: they've booked Queen Latifah to play moderator Gwen Ifill.

"If we do a VP debate sketch, Queen Latifah is lined up to play Gwen Ifill," an SNLrep confirmed to PEOPLE Friday.

Ifill, who moderated Thursday's vice presidential debate between Governor Sarah Palin and Senator Joseph Biden, is managing editor of PBS's Washington Weekand senior correspondent for The News Hour with Jim Lehrer.

Because the SNL lineup is not finalized until shortly before airtime, it's still possible a VP debate sketch will not go live.

In addition to Latifah's possible appearance, Saturday night's SNL will feature host Anne Hathaway and musical guest The Killers.

The actress revealed her sizzling bikini body while vacationing in Mexico. Her trainer Ramona Braganza – who last month revealed Alba, 27, had already lost 25 pounds– says the rapid results are the result of consistent workouts since Alba and husband Cash Warren welcomed Honor Marie on June 7.

"She worked out an hour a day, five or six days a week, and stayed on a strict diet of about 1700 calories a day, losing 600 calories because of exercise," says Braganza.

Alba stuck to a low-fat, low-carb diet as part of Braganza's 321 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan.

Alba had said she wanted to take off the weight in a responsible amount of time, but Braganza tells PEOPLE that Alba made "amazing progress in a very short time. She really works at it."

Didn't Feel Sexy

Alba now may have that post-pregnancy glow, but she revealed in the August U.K. edition ofCosmopolitan that she "never felt less sexy" than when she was expecting, adding, "I mean, I wouldn't have changed it for the world ... but I wanted to get rid of all the weight."

Alba followed Braganza's 12-week plan to the letter and is now adhering to more of her longtime trainer's advice: "Take some time off and enjoy your body. It's good to treat yourself after all that hard work."

But that doesn't mean the actress lolled around and pigged out on vacation. "She loves to move," says Braganza. "She swam and played volleyball, but she was out of the gym and enjoying herself."

Brilliant artist. Kills two birds with one stone.

Artist Jonathan Yeo created the above portrait of Paris Hilton using nothing but old porn magazines. He's currently exhibiting the work at a London art gallery along with a portrait of George W. Bush using the same medium. This Yeo fellow clearly has a knack for knowing when not to waste paint. FOX News reports:

He got the idea for the collages following the cancellation of a commission by the White House to paint Bush in 2004. He made the portrait, anyway, but in the form of a collage using pieces of pornographic magazines.
Barrett said posters of the Hilton portrait, titled "Paris, 2008," will be sold for $20 each at the gallery.
She said Yeo was offering Hilton proceeds from the sale of the posters as a "lighthearted" gesture because the hotel heiress has said she didn't receive any money from the notorious 2004 sex video that starred her and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon.

The Australian actress, 41, is filming in the capital and has spent a month rehearsing for the musical Nine, with Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson. She is expected to be here until Christmas.

Miss Kidman gave birth to Sunday Rose, named after the Australian art collector Sunday Reeve, in July, in Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband, the country singer Keith Urban, 40. He is with her in the UK.

She also has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise - Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13. She and Urban are reportedly planning to move to LA to be closer to them.

But although Sunday Rose is small enough to pick up and go, Miss Kidman may find her entourage a little less portable. It consists of a nanny, a chef, a driver, a bodyguard and a PA.

Miss Kidman recently attributed the 'miracle' birth of her daughter to the health-giving pristine waters in which she swam while filming in a remote location in Western Australia.

Nicole told The Australian Women's Weekly: 'I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it happened on this movie.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen caused another security alert when he stormed the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week.

Cohen interrupted the fashion show of designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in Milan making it onto the catwalk dressed as his Austrian model Bruno. Dressed in a black cloak, and a bizarre bundle of clothing, Cohen strutted down the catwalk past the shows" models.

But the police were called when he refused to leave to restore order.

Scantily clad models screamed and security guards dived on him and several others with him and bundled them away. TV footage screened on Italian TV showed Cohen dressed as his creation Bruno, a flamboyant Austrian fashionista.
